Most of the equipment that is necessary to really get a batch going will be available in any good starter home brewing beer kit. These would include such things as the sanitizer, a hydrometer in many cases, a funnel and the fermenter along with an airlock. With just these basic pieces of beer brewing equipment, it is possible for you to get a batch under way and to bring it to completion. An important piece of brewing equipment that is sometimes included in this starter kit and at other times is not included is the bottle capper. Make sure that you have one of these available, along with a good supply of bottles and new caps by the time your batch of brew is completed.
